Raphael Pohl relates found objects to each other to create narratives not limited to his own experience. For the sculpture two-minute life of rain, he used eight aluminium lampshades that he had removed from an old store and filled with countless rice grains. In their new constellation, they are reminiscent
of the balustrades of stone balconies or railings of stairwells in old buildings.
